What is WBENC?
Founded in 1997 to develop a nationwide standard for women-owned business certification, the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to helping women-owned businesses thrive. WBENC provides one of the most relied upon certifications for women-owned businesses.
Regional Partner
WBEC Florida is one of 14 Regional Partner Organizations across the US which certifies women-owned businesses in Florida (minus the Pan-handle), Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. We are your partner before, during and beyond certification providing connections and championing you with our corporate partners in Florida and beyond.
WOSB Partner
WBENC is an approved Third Party Certifier for the United States Small Business Administration (SBA) Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Federal Contracting Program. To help provide a level playing field for women business owners, the government limits competition for certain contracts to businesses that participate in the Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Federal Contract program.
